JS equivalent for Set Value -> Dialog Return Item?

Would I be correct in stating there is currently no JavaScript API equivalent for a DA action of 'Set Value', set type of 'Dialog Return Item'

JSDoc: Interface: item (0 Bytes)However, we can use this JS in our 'dialog closed' event.
