JRE Version for AV Agent Installation for 12.2.0.11.0 on AIX server.

We are installing a new AVDF server for just the Audit Vault Server (12.2.0.11.0.) which will need to monitor a secured Oracle DB 12c on an AIX server. The installation document says -

1.2.9 Audit Vault Agent: Supported and Tested Java Runtime Environment

Table 1-10 JRE Support Matrix

JRE                            Version Release/Version

1.8                              1.8.0_45 and later

11 11.0.3                     Starting Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall release 12.2.0.11.0.

With the Note section saying -

                        JRE version 11 is not supported on AIX platform.

Does it mean we should  1.8 version on this AIX server  as 11 cannot be supported in AIX?
