JRE for Linux Kernel 2.4.18

Dear Friends,

I have developed some application packages in j2se and they are running successfully in a Windows platform in a PC.

Now I would like to port these applications to a palmtop computer based on Intel StrongARM RISC processor and Linux Kernel 2.4.18.

1. Can I run a standard jre for linux..on this strongARM processor?

2. Will our application programs work as it is if I install jre for linux platform on our palmtop..?

3. Is there a seperate jre package for StrongARM processor..?

4. If standard jre for linux does not work on StrongARM processor, do I have to install j2me..?

5. If j2me is a must for StrongARM, do I have to modify our java source programs to suit j2me..?

Thanks for your reply
Mani
