JRE for arm

843798Jul 6 2004 — edited Jul 7 2004
Hi !
Java should be write once run everywhere. But it is a huge problem that Sun does not compile their JRE package for wide used platforms. One example is the Linux on the arm cpu (Sharp Zaurus). Pdaxrom (www.pdaxrom.org) is a Linux distro for arm cpu with full X and there is a JRE blackdown 1.3 which function very well. But no 1.4 packages . And I have not been able to find a way to do the compile myself because there is no way of getting the full srce .

If anybody knows about a arm JRE 1.4 let me know or if anybody knows how to persuade Sun to support new HW with latest JRE's please let me know.
