jre error

guys my java web start is giving me this error n i can create nany programs in java can u suggest any remedy for my problem..
C:\Program files\java\j2re1.4.2\lib\i386\jvm.cfg n thenn it says bad installation no jre found in configuration file......tats my error .... what do i think guys what the error ... should i downlad java again...
