jre 8 compatibility

So I see according to the ol certification matrix, forms doesn't do jre 8. I'd be curious as to when that would be expected to occur. (Also it doesn't do ie 11). That too.

Since the jre 8 has been unleashed I have a fear of having to deal with the jre 7 autoupdating to 8. when will that start happening one wonders?
