jQuery Flip for Region in Oracle APEX

Hi Experts,

I am using Oracle APEX 5.1. I would like to implement a region flip functionality in Oracle APEX. Similar to the one which we have in apex.world application home page (https://apex.world/ords/f?p=APEX_WORLD:HOME) which toggles between "Forum" and "Slack".

I got some idea from jQuery - Flip but when I tried this in my sample app it gives me some error and the feature doesn't not work as expected.

And detailed steps on how to achieve this would be really helpful.
