Journal entries getting permanently stored

DanyBApr 8 2013 — edited Apr 9 2013
Hi all,

I posted a journal entry in <ECA>, but for some reason, HFM doubled the amount of the value in each account modified by the entry. I unposted the same journal, hoping it would bring the total back to zero, but to my surprise the value in each account was brought back to the value in the journal entry, not to zero. It seems that HFM stored a value at the <ECA> level, keeping the value of my entry in the account. The only way I found to get rid of the value stored was to clear all data at the <ECA> level, but when I reposted the journal, it did the same thing again.

Has anyone ever encountered something like this? And what could be causing the data to be stored even when the journal is unposted?

Thanks!
