JMOD

I have numerous jmod files on my Mac.  I would like to view these files using the proper tools. According to Oracle the tool to use is 'JmodTool'

I have done the following with no success:  in Terminal:  jmod extract <jmodfile>.    I get error:  command: jmod not found.

I could not find a JmodTool binary in my Mac System Folders. but I diid find a jmod binary file in <VirtualMachines/jdk-12.0.2.jdk/contents/Home/bin/jmod

I am asking for some assistance to find and utilize the JmodTool which is referred to by Oracle.  Next I would like to know the commands in terminal or whatever the proper way is to open the jmod files.  If there is an editor that would do this I would prefer this method.

From  Oracle docs page: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/9/tools/jmod.htm#JSWOR-GUID-0A0BDFF6-BE34-461B-86EF-AAC9A555E2AE

Thank you
