Jetty server with ORDS

We have installed and configured ORDS to use as mod/plsql replacement.

I plan to use it as standalone. I read that standalone is using the JETTY server. Also I noticed in standalone.properties a jetty.port parameter.

What does the JETTY server does exactly with ORDS standalone?

Can I access it via URL?

I could not find much in the documentation.
