Jefrey: init command is respawning too rapidly

Hi Jefrey, thanks for ur responce, ok I can boot from Cd (i guess cd3) then how do go on from there, am very much a newbie with solaris/linux. If u wont mind could u pls take me thru the steps, thanks again and God bless
sounds like /usr is its own separate mount point and it didn't mount cleanly last reboot...
try bringing the box down, booting to <media> -s (cdrom or network that is), fsck-ing each mountable slice on root disk, mount them up under /a/<subdir>, verify the contents, umountall, halt and then boot up normally...
Init command is respwaning rapidly, check for possible errors.
