Java SE (Java Platform, Standard Edition)

In the weekend I have downloaded the jdk 6 update 25 from the oracle website . During the install it replaced the jdk and jre 6 update 24 that I had on the computer . My configuration is win 7 professional 64 bit and I installed java 32 bit version . I alredy had netbeans 7 installed . On each run of netbeans it says 'Invalid jdkhome specified' 'Cannot locate java installation in specified jdkhome:\n C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk.1.6.0_24\n Doyou want to try to use the default version?' . When I answer yes it finds the jkd 6 update 25 location and works ok . Also google chrome finds the jre . But firefox fails to find the jre so I have no java in firefox which is my main browser . I observed that when I reinstall the jdk firefox finds the new jre immediately after the reinstallation . But when restarting firefox it behaves as if there is no java plugin and also after rebooting the system the next day . It would be nice if someone could check what is wrong with this situation on side of the jkd/jre automatic configuratin after the install/reinstall .
