jdk 1.4 vs jdk 1.5
807603Jul 13 2005 — edited Dec 19 2007I just had a quick question. The web department in my company is using jdk 1.4 and they will probably stick with it for some time. Now in my department we are starting to convert VB application code into Java application code where we will be using lots of GUI stuff. We would like to stay with 1.4 just to be consistent. So I was wondering if 1.5 has a lot more GUI classes than 1.4 and if we should upgrade or just stick with 1.4 for consistency? I'm thinking 1.4 will be just fine but I'd like to double check....thanks.....
