JDK 1.4 installation error - Incompatible RPC stub

Hi,

I've tried to install both jdk 1.4.0 and jre 1.4.0 (non beta versions) and I get the same error once I start the InstallShield Wizard on Windows 98SE. I get a dialog with the following message:

Unhandled Exception
Error number 0x80070725

Description: Incompatible version of the RPC stub

Setup will now terminate

I would be very appreciative if somebody could tell me what I'm doing wrong.
