JDeveloper - SQLServer error "Incorrect syntax near 'MINUS'" cryptic exception...

289117Jun 25 2002
Has anyone seen this error? I think it may be related to the fact that JDeveloper doesn't recognize the table fields designated as keys. It occurs when I try to create a new Business Component against my project. It creates the component after this error message but I don't get the opportunity to designate the SQL92 dialect and subsequently, nothing works properly.

I saw the post on the 18th where it was suggested to read the intro to working with foreign databases. I know the tip about designating the database as SQL-92. The problem is the wizard doesn't offer the opportunity to designate it before failing and I don't know how to do it otherwise.

Thanks for any help,

Dean
