Very much a newbie. I have no experience with jdeveloper since I cannot get it installed. My machine is a mid-2015 MacBook Pro running Catalina. The first warning reported when attempting an install is "An illegal reflective access operation has occurred". I enclose a file which gives much more information of what is happening.
