JDeveloper DB Connection Issues

737759Nov 29 2009 — edited Nov 29 2009
Hi,

I'm new to JDeveloper (11g R1) but am having some issues making a DB connection (). Below are the details that I am trying to connect with:

Connection Name: test1
Connection Type: Oracle (JDBC)
Username: mooneyb
Driver: oci8 (have tried with Thin also)
Hostname: MOONEY
JDBC Port: 1522
SID: tsthome

When I try the connection test, I am getting a ORA-12541 No Listener message. I know the Listener is running, I'm able to connect to the DB with SQLPlus as per below. I think I'm probably doing something stupid (like I said above, I'm new to this :-) ), any help would be greatly appreciated.
