JDeveloper "Check for Updates" -- JUnit missing

320139Nov 30 2009 — edited Nov 30 2009
I've just installed JDev 11.1.1.2.0

I'm trying to use "check for updates" to install the JUnit plugin; however, the JUnit plugin isn't appearing in the list. I performed the JDev installation on my other laptop last week, and had no problems installing the plugin.

It looks like the update site may have a problem with an invalid XML file, which would account for JDev's "List of Updates" being shorter than usual.

Using my browser, I attempted to hit the URLs listed in JDev's "Search Update Centers". One of them contains an error.

The URL:
http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=updatecenter:uc

redirects to:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/101/update/center.xml

I receive the following error page:

XML Parsing Error: no element found
Location: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/101/update/center.xml
Line Number 1156, Column 54:<u:bundle-url>http://download.oracle.com/otn/java/jde
-----------------------------------------------------^

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a work around?
