JDeveloper 1013 method double click not navigating / problems with EJB.
404638Mar 12 2006 — edited Mar 15 2007hello,
I tried searching thru this forum but could not find the answer. I am using JDevloper 1013.
ADF Business Components 10.1.3.36.73
CVS Version (External) (CVSNT) 2.5.03 (Scorpio) Build 2151 (client/server)
Java Platform 1.5.0_05
Oracle IDE 10.1.3.36.73
Struts Modeler Version 10.1.3.36.73
UML Modelers Version 10.1.3.36.73
Versioning Support 10.1.3.36.73
Problem: When I double click on the method name in the Structure pane, JDeveloper does not go to the source code.
To explain the problem a little more in detail. I am trying to follow the tutorial Developing a Web Application Using the EJB Technology Scope @ http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe9051jdev/ejbtojsp/defaultejb.htm. I know the tutorial is using older version of JDev, but 1013 crashed when displaying the EJB Diagram. Further, there is no drag capability from EJB Diagram to the DataControls pane.
I have followed the advice of on another question and removed the windowinglayout.xml in the jdevstudio1013\jdev\system\oracle.ide.10.1.3.36.73 directory, primarily because on startup, it showed an expception and was behaving rather odd.
If someone knows how to address some of these issues a please let us know. I realise I stated multiple problems, and am not sure if there is a known bug list that has these listed.
It would be great if some from JDev team can respond, primarily because I like JDev and have used the older versions for a while. I really don't want to move to Eclipse and claim this is a buggy product.
Thanks
Farooq
