jdev 9i doing 4000 io/s when embedded oc4j running
Has anyone noticed jdev 902 going crazy with IO when embedded oc4j is running?
When I monitor tasks on my W2K workstation, I see that jdevw is doing about 4000 IO per second. They show in the 'I/O Other' column. When I terminate the oc4j, the count drops down to less than 10 per second, but it is still trying to do something. The only way I have found to stop it completely is to restart jdev. It will then sit there with zero IO unless I am actually doing something. But if I start oc4j again, it goes right back into the above conditions.
It doesn't stop me from working, but it does seem to slow things down just a bit. I don't know how to further determine what kind of 'other' IO it is doing to help in tracking down what it thinks it is attempting to communicate with. I have just started using oc4j, so I don't know if it happened in previous versions.
