JDBC Connection Pools automatically used?

Hi I am using Oracle WebLogic 10.3.6 and Oracle Forms and Reports 11.1.2.2.0.

I set up a JDBC Data Source in the WebLogic Administration Console. The targets are the server I am using and the reports cluster and the forms cluster (WLS_FORMS and WLS_REPORTS).

Does that mean every time the reportserver accesses data from the database. it is using the JDBC Data Source I created? I don't know where to check if the Connection Pool is really used. Does anyone have experiences with Connection Pools and Forms and Reports?
