JCalendar Java Bean - Popup Calendar

Is anyone using this popup Calendar java bean? http://forms.pjc.bean.over-blog.com/article-14848846.html

Is this only usable with a mouse? I have a data entry screen where the user is typing thru fields and I'd like them to be able to press the 'Enter' or 'Tab' key to accept the default value displayed on the pop-up calendar - thereby dismissing the pop-up window quickly without having to reach for the mouse. Is this possible?
