jbo.ampool.isuseexclusive

I'm using jDev 12.2.1.3.0 and having a trouble finding more documentation on the jbo.ampool.isuseexclusive property of the AM-Pooling tag in the bc4j.xcfg file. What does this property actually do?

If I have jbo.ampool.isuseexclusive="true", does caching an App Module at the Application level not work anymore? Also, is setting jbo.ampool.doampooling="false" the same thing?
