Javaw.exe *32 maxing out my cpu on startup

1977921Jan 29 2014

Using my Asus laptop G73JW i7 with OS windows 7.  I downloaded java 7.0.510.13 in order to run my ETrade lvl 2 program.  Each time I start the laptop the java program described above maxes my CPU usage to the point that my laptop locks up if I try to multi-task.  Never had this problem before I added java and yes I have removed all previous versions of java.  I wonder if there is a way to limit the amount of CPU that java is able to use in order to prevent crashes which are becoming more and more frequent.  Any help would be appreciated.  I am not a programmer so please keep it simple.  I have seen other answers here that were very rude in that they answered but it was not helpful and when the person posing the question replied the person answering was very rude in the follow up.  If you are like that, please don't answer here.  Let someone with intelligence and a sense of understanding answer me instead.  Thank you.
