JavaScript function A_REPORT causing "undefined error"

514908Oct 30 2008 — edited Feb 5 2010
Hi,

I am currently working on a project using jQuery to pull page report using AJAX.

I have an error caused by the A_REPORT function. When I try to change the pagination or change the order by of a column, the report disappear and display a text message : undefined.

Carl already respond to a thread about this: 2587615
But the thread is left unanswered and Carl's demo application has the same problem I have.

If we take a look at Carl's demo application :
http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=11933:48
"Department Select" = SALES

Click on a column header to change the order by:
$a_report('4431684739207168107',false,false,false,'fsp_sort_3')
Click next to change the report pagination:
$a_report('4431684739207168107','6','5','5')

In both situation, we get the "undefined" message.

I can't find the $a_report function definition. In which .js file can I find it? Is it rendered at the page level? I can't find it anywhere. And the official APEX doc doesn't say anything about it.

Thanks,

Louis-Guillaume
