Java3D Tutorials - Sites or books?

843799Apr 24 2003 — edited Apr 25 2003
I've been trying to learn how to program in Java3D for about a month now. Most of the tutorials I've found either assume I know more than I do about 3D, or their examples do not work correctly. I've tried Google searches, Copernic searches, About.com, even Sun's own tutorial. None of these leave me with enough confidence to go out & write my own Java3D application.

Does anyone have any recommendations on either websites to go to, or books I could purchase that would help me?

I've been to javaworld.com, j3d.org, java.sun.com, and the Brown University Java3D page.
