By following installation instructions for Java SE 8 I jumped into the certification page:

In this page I found, with my surprise, "VMWare is not a certified hypervisor"!
Of course I expect a hypervisor try to have no incompatibilities for any software as its primary mission. So I think checking a certification/compatibility for hypervisors is in fact an exercise to find bugs or limits in the hypervisor...
But someone has some hints on this explicit statement put only for the VMWare hypervisor?
Some specific already known incompatibilty exists for it?
Someone has some experience or additional information?
