New to Java

I have bought a new PC today and in the process of setting up, have installed java to use on www.pogo.com (a games site).

Although the installation has worked (and been verified) and other java games will work - it doesn't on pogo. I have played on pogo for a couple of years now and not had this problem. It starts to launch the game but doesn't get to the stage where the "java sun" comes up while loading. It then says it is "done" but there is a blank page.

I hope that makes sense - and even more - that someone can help!!
