Java Plug in with oracle forms

Hi,

I m trying to implement the laf example provides by francois
and the problem is even if the jre 1.4.2_16 is available on my system.At run time plug in is not being found and if i use Java 1.6 plugin is found but after starting the applet nothing is being displayed on my screen.It's like oracle.forms.engine.main started.and nothing happens.Might be the class id doesn't match 1.6 version and i don't know the id.Could any one guide me through the steps.My basic problem is why jre 1.4 is not being found.

Plz. help.
