JAVA Patch and KVM use

Good Morning Gents

Here is an interesting issue that has happened in our location.

We have numberous SUN systems (T1000, T2000, V240 etc) all set up to work through Raitan KVMs.

They have been working like this for several years with no issues.

We went to install the latest JAVA patch 118666-22 - which upgrades java 1.5.0-19 to 1.5.0-20

Of course we tested this on our test systems. Patch installed fine and then we needed to reboot the system.

Now the system does not come up through the KVM. This patch was the only change to the system.

I know - what does a JAVA patch have to do with how the system boots and uses the KVM. Seems kind of a stretch and even SUN support through their hands up on this one.

Any input on this is greatly appreciated.
