Java not working properly - Please help
I am sorry but I have a newbie question. Apologies if it has been covered before.
I downloaded the Java Version 6 Update 19 over the weekend but now java does not work properly - computer is slower and it seems that somehow something got corrupted.
The applet on Java Virtual Machine (JVM) does not display properly.
I have followed the website instructions and checked these additional configurations
1.Enable Java through your Web browser
2.Enable Java through the "Java Plug-in Control Panel"
3.Clearing your Web Browser Cache
But without success.
I have uninstalled java and reinstalled java twice but still not working 100% - now it works when it feels like working but not all the time. Test on Java Virtual Machine (JVM) still does not display properly (only the "grey bottom" part is OK - The top portion that should read "Your Java is working properly" "Latest Java installed" is not recogniseable (like scribblling)
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
