Java not working on Rambus !!!( Plz help)

Java gets installed in my system but the compiler(javac.exe) doesn't work to give .class files from .java files.
I had classpath and path correctly but the javac file just executes without any error but doesn't give class files.
My PC config is
Pent 4 1.4Ghz
Intel 850GB Motherboard supports only RD RAM(Rambus D RAM)
128 MB RD RAM
Does the JVM has any problem in RD RAM architecture boards.( i even installed latest JDK 1.4.2 but still the prob persists).JRE is running fine as my browser is running fine for java based webpages.
Anybody , Plz help me.
