Java integration with TCP Monitor

Hi,

I am developing a java application where I need to integrate to any free TCP Monitor plugins to verify the traffic between the client & server for the respective webservices. Is there any tcp monitor plugin available to monitor those details from java? I know that there are lot of TCPMON tools available which can be integrated with eclipse as well. But I need to do the same from the java code. Please clarify.
