Java Installer Connection Error

Hello:

I'm trying to get started ...
I've downloaded the j2sdk-1_4_2_01-windows-j586.iftw.exe, but can't get it to install. It gives me the error "The installer cannot proceed with the current Internet Connection proxy settings."
Where are the settings and what should they be?
