Java FX Webview problems on ubuntu 16

Ηι,

We are running a Java Webview browser application (loading simple local html files) on ubuntu version 16.04LTS with java version "1.8.0_91" and we notice encoding problems (characters not displaying properly).

Furthermore, html5 audio (jplayer library) doesn't work.

The same application is working properly on ubuntu <=14.04 (amd64 and i386 architectures).

Any ideas?
