java.exe not found on starting netbeans application

I have just found the J2SE Development Kit 5.0 and NetBeans IDE 4.0 Beta 2 Bundle and download it..
1-what this package includes though it is a developer kit is it possible that it doesn not include the jre ?
2-I have this jre1.4.2_02 thing as my run time is it the correct one that comes with the package where is the jre1.5 one?
3-why does netbean gives the error that it cant find the java exe???

can somebody hellp me>=
