java.exe not found after installing jdk-1_5_06

I have downloaded jdk-1_5_0_06-windows-i586-p.exe. The installation appears successful, but there is no java.exe file.

I'm on windows server 2003. Any thoughts.

I've downloaded it several times, installed, uninstalled, restarted, etc..

I would like to use Netbeans, but can't seem to get the jdk installed no matter what I do.

Any thoughts?
