Java SE (Java Platform, Standard Edition)

everytime i try to load an online java page, the java window says "error: click for details"...
then a java console comes up saying:

ive installed and re-installed java like 4 times.
when i go to the test page it just stays blank...


plz see if you can help as my school and homework both use java
