java database tutorial

hi everyone, im a IT student... now im doing a project to complete my degree... i have to create a report system to a compony.. im using java programming to develope the system.. i don't know how to create a database to the system... the db must contain all the report that the user send to the admin by this system in online.. so, i need some tutorial that can help me to develope the system.. plz email me, the tutorial...
