I have a MacOS 13.5 (22G74) and I have successfully installed Java Oracle (JDK 23.pkg). But I cannot find the JRE: when I click on the apple on system preferences and search for “Java”, I find Java logo but I am told that “Java control panel is unfindable”.
It doesn't seem to work at all since when I try to install Zotero's extension on LibreOffice I am told that I need “Oracle's Java Development Kit (JDK) on macOS 10.10 or greater to perform this task. Please install them and restart LibreOffice. https://hub.libreoffice.org/InstallJava/?LOlocale=en-US 13.5 (22G74)”.
I don't know what to do, the installation works just fine but every time I double click on the “JDK” icon in my applications it starts the installation again…
