java:comp/env context in app. clients (urgent)

All,

I having some problems accessing the java:comp/env context from an application clients. I am using WAS 5.0 (J2EE 1.3).

As far as I can remember the J2EE spec (section J2EE9.4) does allow access to this context from the application clients.

Is there something wrong that I am doing ???
