Java Chat client/server source

I am looking for the source of the chat applet currently in use at java.sun.com. Or the class files.
We would like to replace icq with this one....

Any hint ?
Any similar chat ?

P.S. Yes I know this may not be the best place where to ask, but then what is the best place for such a question ?
