Java Card and SIM card

Hi,

SIM card is the same as Java Card, if that SIM supports Java, I'm right ?

Can I write applets for SIM (it supports Java) which I use in my GSM mobile phone, and in what why. (like for Java Card).

Where I can get more info about SIM card as subset of Java Card.
