Java Applet Warning message on Applet

I have just upgraded to Java 1.6.0_27 from 1.5_06 .
I have an applet embedded in html .After the upgrade I get a small triangle warning message on right side of my window.
Is there any way I can get rid of it.I read I have to sign the applet?Is there any way I can disable the icon for all users using my site without signing the applet.
