Java 3D[TM]

How do i retreive zcoordinate from the canvas3D. if i am using mouse listeners..then i could retrieve only x and y coordinates. In short..i want to retrieve x,y and z coordinates..from the screen..by using mouse.One more thing i want to know...how to draw an arc in java3D..so that i could place it on the scene..
plz help me..
