Jasper reports

I able to do template designing by iReport tool , but if i am getting the data from database the generating report has no problem it is working proper and report generating is proper but if the report is prepared in java program by taking the values from the database, and now the generated report is in a vector[] in my java program ,

Now I want to display the vector[] results into a report format

How should i resolve this issue
