J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 update 9...Error 2755 and 1624

hey all my automatic updates kicked in last week to update this and it failed........a screen popped up saying error 2755 and 1624........I tried downloading the file after it was "saved" and it still came up with the same errors..........anyone familiar with these errors and know how to fix this problem...I'm running WindowsXP home edition SP2....and using IE 7....this is the first time I have ever had a problem with Java.........and I would like to reslove this.
