J2ME on HP550

Hello everyone,

I am devloping a music sequencer for the HP5550, in Java.

I have been researching the technology I need on the internet, but I am a little confused as to which set of programs best suit my needs.

The HP550 is quite powerful, therefore I need J2ME CDC profile. Unfortunately the Wireless Toolkit does not support CDC, only CLDC.

I am also unsure of thich VM and compiler to use. Can anyone recommend one? Jeode? IBM?

If anyone could tell me which software best suits the HP550 I would be very appreciative.
