Java EE (Java Enterprise Edition) General Discussion

Hello everyone,

I've just started out learning j2ee, more specifically, I'm currently trying to learn ejb3. I've been reading along with the sun tutorial, as well as the book EJB3 In Action by Debu Panda, Reza Rahman, and Derek Lane. So far so good but, right now I only know how to compile, deploy, and call my beans using the NetBeans IDE.

Anyways, I was hoping you might recommend a tutorial that takes you through the process of compiling, packaging, deploying (to the sun application server or jboss), and calling a simple "Hello World" session bean from a remote client, without the aid of an IDE.
