iText vs PL/PDF to generate PDF reports

Hi,

I'm looking for a cheap solution to generate PDF reports from APEX and thinking of using either iText or PL/PDF to do so

and looking for some feedback from anyone that have used either of these product and which people think does a better job.

I would prefer iText as it is free, but if PL/PDF is much better it might be worth paying the extra.

Any help would be most appreciated.
